just bung in another l28 (only takes a day ), till you can aford the convo.... marks adapters dont make 253/308 to mq/mk convo kits any more either.

my l24 pushes 36's with standed 4.6 gears... even in its tired old unhealthy state...

i have this problem too, when i put my head back together i put the cam back in 180* out. you cant just turn the dizzy backward 180* .... i tryed with no seccess!!! but you can swap the possition of no1 spark plug to the opposit side and re-set the firing order from there. then you can sorta adjust ...

Steve. what happend to that vintage rule they had going?? my uncle has a club rego vc dunnydore he uses as a "zero car" for rally meet's, cost's him around $60 ...

what about registering it as a tractor?? i could mabie see this work for buggy's, but not so much for full body rig's....

what pressure are you guys running for road???? im running 20psi on 15x8's on a swb mq at the moment but it seams a little high???

mq/mk's are 765mm out side to out side of chassis rail's, the rails are 85mm tall x 59mm wide, from top of the bonet to the bottom of the rails is 650mm (no body lift) and about 1650mm wide gaurd to gaurd...

looks like that bar is made for a few differnt models as the mounts look like there bolted ...

yeah, undo all bolts and walk it across with a crow bar...... sounds dodgy but it worked for me

wasnt the cast steel sd33 bell housing shorter than the alloy l28? i used to have a cast one lying around and from memery is was about 150mm long.... but its was from a na sd33 + 5sp box

This setup wld cause at least some problems for me as my rails tend to slide on the rocks quite often. Damn hangups.... 100% true, but mq's (sorry, i forgot to mention that it was a mq) have a big bash plate to cover the ...

there 65x10mm flat bar with 4 m12 grade 8 bolts for each mount, 32nb medium black wall tube and 10mm flat bar gussets on the mounts, and the main rails are 40x40x3mm rhs and 32nb medium black wall tube.
