Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Can anyone recommend a western sydney based company to install an auto transmission cooler into a prado V6 petrol 90 series.
We tow a heavy off road camper trailer and I am concerned that we may overheat the auto transmission when off road.

So....you knowingly drove your uninsured 4WD, ....had an accident....and it's the insurance companies fault ?? huh ???

I have just replaced my deep cycle battery with a new one as it wasn't holding its charge. It was about 3yrs old. I suspect its because the fridge only gets used occassionally and the battery dosen't like sitting there not being not used.

I think that i used the Jimny arm as i when i replaced the sierra steering box, i found it too hard to remove the arm from my original box.
Anyway I have equal lock to left & right.

Agreed, the window net requirement should have been released with spec's.
At Willoglenn I seen a fish net style version held in position with electrical cable tie sticky bases.

Best i can find is classic coachworks (in sydney) for $400. Dearest one i found was $850.
Does anyone recommend a brand ? or are they all much the same quality ?

I have put a jimny motor in my WT sierra. It bolted straight up without any problems. To answer christover1 i am not sure if it is a G or M.
Another benefit is the power steering.
The jimny motor is nice & smooth to drive. I run 31" tyres and series 1 rockhopper but would think that the newer ...

Yes the Jimny motor bolts straight in & comes complete with a/c & power steering. This is the set-up i am running with 31" tyres & rockhopper series 1.
Drives nicely with 31" tyres but would struggle with bigger tryes unless you went to a series 3 rockhopper.

I guess it depends on what type of comp you want to run, but to suggest that an open diffed class would be boring to watch is just a dumb thing to say.

Nam, if you are really serious about this idea than you might wish to speak to some of the guys from the NSW Suzuki club, in particular the president, David (or rc211e on this board).
We have used a similar classing system at a recent club event and i think it went well. We have talked together up ...

If your talking about the Jamboree held at Easter by the 4wd association then the second address is correct ie.http://jamboree.4wdnsw.com (its down at the moment being updated)
The Suzuki Club (along with a some help from other clubs) is hosting it in 2004 and its open for all makes of 4wd's.

Sam, are you allowed to legally have the blinkers mounted on the swing out part ? If you could then you could almost just use the existing assembly from the old rear bar. BTW is that Gavin's zook ?

I would suggest you only need to get a rockhopper. (Standard gearing with 31's = bad idea)
