I didnt find the conversion expensive , just time consuming . Someone mentioned that they had issues with the sump hitting the diff , this can easily be fixes with a sump reversal and pick up extention.

I have just finished puting the q45 in my Patrol . It already had one when I purchased the car , but it was shot and the conversion wasnt the best. I have taken heaps of photos and might even have some spare engine bits if you get into trouble .

ok , so is it a 80 series , or a 80's model cruiser
so what lift have you fitted , is it a 60 mm spring lift ? and 30 mm body lift ?
I didnt understand the 60 mm OME and then another 30 mm spring ? WTF does than mean ?
Anyway , if it's a 80 series cruiser . you will get 35's under it with 60mm ...

I didn't like this oprion. It is how the car was purchased and bottom end was shot due to the angle it was sitting on. So I optted to lower the engine into the engine bay for a better angle.

the housing that needs to be moved has the check valve ect.
What I would have to do , is make 2 plates to the shape of the gasket , fit fittings ether end , bolt one to the pump housing , the other to the block and run hp lines in bitween .
I am fairly confident it would work lol

Hi guys , I am in a little bit of a delema . In the re fit of my Q45 in my shorty Patrol. I have managed to get the engine on a good angle, even the aircon sits in nicely . Everything fits in exept for the dam oil filter housing lol .
I can do either one of the following.....

[/quote]are you sure they were buckshots in 35s cause ive asked every tyre ive been to and emailed maxxis themselves and they all say they dont make them in that size yet maxxis themselves emailed me and said that they had not made a mould for a 35 buckshot but possibly would in the future if demand ...

Have run the buckshots in 35's on a hundred series , will never buy them again . there all over the road due to soft side walls . Ran BFG in the same size ad car drove straight . Ware was to quick , and not the best in mud

I was wondering if anyone has a 315/75/16 BFG muddy for a spare . I noticed that most people were not advertising tyres once they got past a certain ware. Please contact me on here as i need at least one before my Simpson trip .

I am running the castor correction bushes and find the castor almost standard . Had issues getting toe in correct , but all sorted now .

sorry roldit, I should have been more specific . It is the rear I was talking about for the wheel spacers.
As for legal , well i dont think the 36's and the 6" lift is legal anyway lol . So not to fussed about that aspect. Cheers

Hi guy's Just got hback from Straddy. Yes alot of tracks were closed , but still had a ball on the sand . Did some night beach driving which was fun and made up for the closed tracks
