I had universal springs fitted a while back on my GQ and they were crap, the whole rear end would sag with a decent load in the back, I also had Rancho 5000 shocks in.
I have just had OME springs and shocks fitted with a 2" lift. So far these are fantastic.

The way I noticed that it was missing was driving through water which was over the bonnet. Halfway through I noticed the passenger footwell filling up with water!! Good car wash though.

Whats missing??

After a recent trip I noticed that something had fallen off of the passenger side of the fire wall, leaving a small round hole about 15 cm up.

But I can't remember what was there before.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you do get a thermo, hook an over-ride switch up so you can switch it on/off when you need to. This way and it doesn't matter if you drive through deep water. Mine is behind the radiator so it's kinda protected as well. I've also got a bonnet scoop sitting directly above the extractors, pushing ...

My first 4WD was a Toyota 4Runner, blew the motor in that, so we upgraded to a Nissan Patrol TD42. Also had a commodre which I wanted to rebuild.

But then I saw a few articles in 4WD Monthly on zuks and decided that would be more fun than the commodre, so I found a 85 Hi roof.

The Patrol is ...

Sick carby

I have a 85 1.3l sierra. The carby blew a gasket recently and now is just not running right.

The thought that I had was should I;

a) rebuild the current carby
b) replace it with a later model
c) replace it with a holley

Any help would be appreaciated

Removal of rear window

I need to remove my rear window from my hard top. I have had to replace my rear door and my new one is a lovely red, but the rest of the car is grey.

Any ideas on how to remove it so I can spray the door, without cutting the rubber?

Thanks

My 1.3L 1985 carby was running great till I blew a gasket in the carby, then it would not idle. That was fixed, then it would not idle on choke, but would when warm, now fixed, now it has a flat spot at around 1900 rpm.

I'm beginning to hate my carby!
