R15# is 23 spline
G52 with geardrive transfer is 21 spline
G52 with chaindrive transfer is 26 spline
I have grafted the R151 housing onto the G52 housing and made a 23/21 spline couplers
I am wanting to cast some housings now

I have a drama with a mates hilux we've changed the box in the lux ln106 it runs a v6 vn motor we changed the gearbox from the diesel box to a petrol gearbox and now the speedo is 15km/h out just wondering if any one no's how to correct the problem

What is the oil level ? how old is the oil?
Check the pivot sockets at the bottem of the gear lever, the bush might be warn and not letting it fully selecting gear
Change the oil
If it is howling it could need reconditioning
The G52 does not generaly have a problem if driven normaly

I use this all the time including on supercharged L67 conversions

I use the standard Hilux diesel ln106 radiator with a 11 blade viscous hub engine driven fan
It is great in W.A.s 40 plus temperatures

I have been drilling the flanges to take both early and late tailshafts on Hilux diffs for years
It sounds like you have a 5.29 diff out of a 70s Hiace van with 8mm holes
clock the tailshaft and drill 10.5 mm between the existing holes

If you take the BCM out you cant get any fault codes for diagnosing problems and the OBD scanner will not work
I use the VP harness and computor on all ecotec conversions including the Commodore V6 Supercharged engines

The reason is for the ease of instalation, cost and repair

I have them on my 4runner and they give about 2" lift straight up
The travel of the spring is limited by the shockies and you should put longer hoses on or relocate the front hose bracket onto the side of the chassis rail pointing down this way you can use standard hoses
