Generally water injection is used in combination with nitrous to prevent detonation. Extended use of nitrous will overheat an engine quickly, and the water injection assists in preventing detonation (preignition) in petrol engines.

From old memory (its been over 10 years since I was in the mechanics game) a cruiser box is definately not a one man lift unless you are good with juggling a jack at the same time. I would definately recommend against it unless you have a jack that perfectly cradles the box without you needing to ...

No power steering. I wonder how difficult it would be to swap in a ball power steering box if mine is buggered from a wreckers or something. Wouldnt it just be a matter of bolting on the pump and installing the new power version of the box?

I just bought an 89 Dual Cab LN106R 2.8L Hilux which I am doing up as a bush basher/camping 4x4 ($3k for those curious)
