What do people think about putting a V6 commodore motor in with the standard G52 hilux gearbox.

i have the same problem i have an '94 80 series GLX and an '85 hilux extra cab SR5 i drive the hilux more i prefer it. but don't want to get rid of the 80 because it has all the mod cons.
So i keeped both let the misses drive the 80 series.

i had extractor and 2" system with straight though muffer on my 4runner and i just brought a 84 exrta cab it has extractor on it i'm just got to do the same thing again it worked well. good power incress fron standard

mid 90's 80's body but an extra cab type body with roll cage type tray. about 10 in lift over the standard crusier, 37" tyres on 17" wheels, the power plant would come from the new F250 the cummins 7.3ltr turbo diesel V8. with a 5 spd with dual transfer case setup and air lockers standard

serviced only about 5000kms ago back fires though airfilter only on LPG it just blow the air flow meter to bits brought second hand 1 $400 later. gas system is computerized with all the shit like EFI so cant be tuned does it all it self the gas bloke told me. someone else told me leads might have to ...

i had a simillar problem and it was a combination of the drag link being stuffed and there was not enough castor on the front i put a droplink in and some castor wedges and it heaps better now

i had the same problem i went and brought a bent arm(draglink) form snake racing fixed the problem they are good for 2" to 10" lifts i think and they are adjustable
