its probably a problem with your high speed or fuel prosessor.try holding it at about 300rpm and disconecting the electrical plug on the high speed and see if that solves it

mod plates are qld only if you had the old rego papers and it was done after 96 you can usually trace the engineer using the first two letters of the report number.you will have problems getting an older engine than the car passed unless its straight gas though.

Re: Gas regulator/ converter
if its a liquid it will expand on the other side of the injector if it got through without freezing. the jet isnt the only limitig factor as the injector pulses but will only generally allow 80% duty cycle. some of the older systems didnt run a converter they ran just a lock, injecter, a hobbs switch ...

Re: Gas regulator/ converter
yeah i meant liquid, sorry. we use a torque gas unit that is the same as a petrol vapour injected system.it is a very simple unit as it is not used to meter gas just to control pressure.most deisels around the 4ltr mark run a 2 to 2.5mm jet in the injector so they dont use a lot of gas, to compare a ...

Re: Gas regulator/ converter
if you get vapour up the line the converter should take care of it if it makes it all the way up the line.if you get too much the converter might freese though as they are generally not heated on a small deisel as they require very little gas and its already in vapour form.

Re: Gas regulator/ converter
the minimum is usually around 15psi thats what most cars run at at idle.you didnt ask for a minimum only a maximum.also deisel gas usually use a vapour withdrawal gas tank so they arn't converting anything in a deisel only metering.

if a rebate has been claimed on the tank you use you dont get it again, so if the tanks resonably new i'd put money on it having a rebate claimed against it.

Re: Removing diesel gas injection system
legally you cant remove a service line, so you cant remove the tank.generally the deisel pump timing etc is not modified as the gas is a booster not the main fuel and can be turned off at the gas switch.

Re: lpg level sender issue
its usually the guage there pretty shonky your better off getting an analogue guage like a vdo or autometre if you want real accuracy mine reads full for about 150ks on my cruiser but runs on red for 150ks in my falcon i usually just fill up then reset my tripmeter its the most accurate way.

all 0-90 ohm senders are the same its the common resistance for lpg guages.you usually only find different resistance if there wired into the standard fuel guage.

Re: 100 series Gas Tank
vapour injection uses more gas but it goes better because there is no restriction in the intake from having a mixer in the air path and the more accurate gas delivery
