Does anyone know the Cylinder head bolt (nut?) torque specs for 2.4 TD (2L-T/E) and 3.0 TD (1KZ-T) diesel motors. (Surf or 4Runner motors)

Does anyone know where the heater blower motor resistors are on a 2nd Gen Surf/4Runner.

Getting fed up with all or nothing heating

Yup, we though of that, but it looked like the air-con rad is on the lower right hand side of the rad, this fan is on the left (from the front)

But it was hard to see in the dark, so not 100% sure, its all I could think the fan was for.....

My mate brought his 2.4TD Jap import Surf round tonight.

It has the usual big viscous cooling fan on the motor like normal, but he also has a smaller elec fan on the other side of the rad. Its looked like a factory fit thing.

Wassit do? Hes never had it come on at all, its up against the main ...

I need help for a mate with a Jap import 2nd gen 4Runner, he has the 2 position transfer case lever with a button on it for 4WD.

Has anyone a wiring diagram for the electrics please, does it have any extra relays that my 'normal' (2H-4H-N-L4) system hasn't?
