And to be honest didnt want to pay anywhere between 250 - 300 for second gq hubs that can be upto 15-20 years old...

I bought set off these guys, and fitted them up came with everything for $395

1. Ive read that you should use h3 globes with adaptors for the XGT's is this correct? as this removes the shadow spot in the lights.

Sent my Garrett T3 turbo off to GCG in Sydney the other day to be remodelled! It’s the turbo that is used as part of the Safari kit on the TD42. I came up with some ideas and this is what they want to do:

Machine my T3 housing to suit a GT3071R 84 trim turbine wheel, and GT3071R CHRA.

Basically what people have been doing (budget) is using a td42 cast log manifold ebay ...

It will be on a Gq extra cab, with airbag rear and 4"coil front, running 35/37"

not allowed to use blue and red at the same time, but ya can use one or the other, thats what a copper friend told me...


cars come stock with blue quartz and HID lights these days, so if ADRs say thats not allowed then there are thousands of vehicles comming from factory breaking the law ...

well if you have the big rear diff the diffs from a 3.0L wont fit even if you get the whole center the crown wheel and pinion will be to small.

Your only option is to put the complete GQ diff (disc to disc) under your GU wagon. If you want a large genuine 4.3 crown wheel and pinion you can only ...

i have sitting in my backyard a 94 GQ coil cab rolling chasie with a no enging or gearbox any ideas whats its worth.

i'd say about $2000

can get a complete cab from wreckers for $1300. chasis isnt worth a great deal and the diffs about $1000............

saying all that its worth what someone is ...

they just cant be complianced.

only option would be to get one over here, put it on a late model shorty chassis or just cut number which is a little bit illegal...

i wouldnt go the machining of the manifold seen them crack after this being carried due the extreme temps that are in the engine bay...

I would either get more fuel and boost put in say 15psi and that will give u about 100kw at the rear wheels. cost about $200

or change turbo the garret GT28RS ...
