Why not just weld the front diff and use the free wheeling hubs? would be a whole lot cheaper! ... or is that just a dumb rookie mistake?

I'm interested in the same type of thing!

looking at the BJ42 though, and one that's able to be driven straight away! (able to be registered with minimal work to be done!)
I have to agree with the other comments here that they are expensive! I can't find anything suitable for much under $7k
