Just one other thing . . . in pic no 2

The black/red hose at bottom of pic. . .I think it says Powerflex on it. . ..

If this is the oil drain pipe from the bottom of the turbo, I'd be trying to make sure that it was less tight in its bend. . . An old turbo guru once told me that you need as ...

I agree with Murcod, you're better taking your wastegate actuator pipe to the manifold rather than the fitting above. . .. .that way your wastegate opens when your inlet manifold reaches the pre-determined level of boost not when the turbo reaches that level. That way, if you are loosing pressure ...

I agree with GQ and V8 Patrol. . ..

Too big an exhaust on a small capacity engine will kill torque

The "BIGGER is better" theory only works on Turbo'd engines, and then only to a certain extent. . . .I read somewhere. . I think it was in Corky Bells book on turbo'ing that a good mandrel bent ...

When I "reuse" a tappet cover gasket I only use gasket goo/silicone on the side that contacts the tappet cover. That way, if you have to take it off again, you can, without totally destroying it.

97 Rodeo wiring diagrams available

Hi Guys
Phoenix on the Overlander forum posted the following site in relation to discovery wiring diagrams. . . on the same page is a couple of zip files for 97 rodeos

No use to me but I thought any owners of 97 rodeo's might be interested.

you vented and slotted your rotors, did you also replace the pads?

If so, were they exactly the same pads? are they fitting into the caliper firmly. . .if there is a bit of a gap round them they may be moving forward in the caliper and causing the "bang" under hard stop
Take the wheel off, get ...

You get another "Good Work" from me!
I'll be watching closely for the results too.
For the amount we use them you have to weigh up the cost difference. . .and there is a BIG cost difference between the BigW one and the other "expensive" ones.
cheers!
