I checked out the property last weekend and will be going up again this sunday. Mike & crew have put in some fantastic stages. anyone that doesnt enter will really miss out on an exciting new property.

as for spacers not 1 winch challenge car runs spacers in vic. no need for them. remember this is winch challenge not rock crawling.

You'd think Eastern Creek would be on top of insurance issues with the other sports held there being a lot more dangerous than ours.

what a fantastic event,
nice weather for the day stage which most people winched about 12 times on. we only had 4 teams complete the day stage.

the night stage started at 7 on a much wetter track. It didnt cause to many extra winches but the few extras were hard long pulls up slippery hills. 3 ...

we are looking for a few groups of people to marshall at secret check points. you dont need to be a trained marshall and will get to watch some great action.

for cost you cant beat a warn high mount winch. hook it up to 2 high CCA batteries. on our production class winch car we use 2 AC Delco batteries , they are 900CCA each and the winch pulls strong.

If you speak to Hobzee at H4 he can supply a High mount winch with breathers fitted and a 6hp motor ...

we have a few good teams starting to enter.

please get you entries in soon so we can print of the right amount of tulip notes. and make sure your car has either a good working trip meter or even better a GPS or terra trip.

That was huge.. what an event.. i think i've had 20 hrs sleep since last friday. It was full on..
I'm at the airport awaiting the plane home, i'm stuff ...

3 great fast flowing stages today mixed with some tight technical sections . 1 was 250ks, 1 was 126ks and the last one 84ks.
we came 3rd on the second ss just over a minute behind Andy brown , top speed on the stage was 175km/h
We were 5th overall for the day and have moved into 7th place.

Great 200 km stage today, I think Darren & I came in 4th or 5th on the stage, then stuffed the next one up with a navigational error by me, buggar...
All the time we made up in the previous stage was lost by a stupid mistake, but we finished the stage, and will make ammends tomorrow.

end of day 1 and car is going great, all sand today so wish we had a 6ltr under the hood.
we moved from 18th after prologue to 11th today. 10th place is our class leader only 1 minute in front.
