That looks like the seal that goes on the back of the stub axle. part number 40232 in the picture above! it does get used! just not many people bother to replace the needle bearing in the rear of the stub axle!

The roof lining is a real pain in my truck! but you have just given me a great idea!

I have ha dthe same problem with my patrol, and i found the problem was in the blinker stalk! replaced it and no probs!
So if ya know someone with a spare, ya could check it quite quickly!
I also checked all my earths.

I have a 2H motor that has been sitting, unstarted for about 5 months now.
When I first got the motor, I saw it running, and it wasn't blowing smoke at all.

Get it done by an authorised restraint fitter, it's just not worth the risk.

Just make sure that what ever you do mounting point wise, that you get it checked out by a qualified fitter.

after all it will be holding your most valuable cargo.

how much would it cost? to convert a tb42 from carby to efi.
as i am lookin at buying a GQ soon, but i can only seem to find carby ones.
or should i just keep looking, till i can find a good efi one cheap.
