Was told on here that the auto low range gear will fit in the manual transfer,
I got my old blown auto home on thursday and im going to rip it apart and see how i go...
Was told that the auto low range ratio is 2.3 compared to 1.9 in the manual.
Any one got a heads up on that.
Hopefully it all ...

Think iread somewhere that the endless air compressor's are only $450 for the setup.
Does that sound right.
Can they fit if the original air cond pump is still on?

I drove my 60 without shocks when i first put my new springs in and it was an abortion to drive.
Youve only got to stick ya head out the window and have a look at the tyre when you hit a pothole or rough patch and you'll know what they have shocks for.

Cheers for that mate,
He just engaged it and it wouldnt go, like he had no gears.
He limped it home but everytime he pulled up it wouldnt go again.
He had to perservere with it (in and out of gear) to get it to go.
Pulled it down and the transfer was a mess!!

Replaced the front bush's first with nolathane ones, didnt really want to but the rubber bush's i put in a month ago were buggered already.
That helped a bit, set the toe again, retensioned wheel bearings again. Took it for a drive between each fix.

Mine vents boost on gear change and it sounds exactly like that.
Kind of like a BOV. But without the BOV :D .
A straight through exhaust with no mufflers and a bit of boost is all that is done to mine.

Brendan, what sort of clutch are you running behind your 12HT? I wound my boost up to 13PSI and turned the fuel up to match (not that high though, no black smoke at all) and now when accelerating in 3rd of 4th my clutch starts to slip... :bad-words: but it goes quite well. (rebuilt engine, 3 ...

Well its definatly not wheel bearings.
Pulled them out tonight, repacked them put them back in, took for drive....same thing.
Checked king pin bearings, seem fine.
Gunna try a couple 3mm wedges and see if it is caster, i didnt think it would have been castor but im running out of ideas!!!

It definatly feels like a bearing problem, the way it wobbles when you hit a bump or rough spot.
