Its an 86 model, 4.2L V6 Petty. 250000 on the clock. LX Model.
What sort of mileage would he expect to get?
Is it Carby or EFI?
Coils or Leafs?
250,000ks seems like a fair bit for a petty to me, can anyone comment on this?
Any known or common issues to look for during an inspection?
Is $3500 reasonable for one that seems, cosmetically at least, to be in good nick. And the guy assures me over the phone its got "a good engine and a good gearbox"

Back on the amount of K's for a sec, what would you expect to pay for a rebuild? or whats a cheap transplant option if the engine goes sour after he buys it?
