Hey all, does any one now of the applicable law's relating to children and baby seats in 4wd's ? i.e is it "law" for kids of a certain age/ weight to be in a certain booster seat/capsuale ? By the way i'm in Vic.
By the way i'm not trying to get around any rules i'm just trying to get the facts straight and vicroads dont really help much....

that is your best bet, there are many pages on it in writing...
yes there are rules for weights/sizes/ages... Beers for being smart enough to look into it, its amazing how many people you still see driving round with kids on the passengers lap or in back seat with no belts..

there was a bit of a blitz in QLD recently on the mounting points for the safety harnesses, not just on the seats themselves.
So make sure you have approved, engineered mounting points, as well as a good seat.
