its leaking oui out the seal. the bearing seems ok ( has no excess movement) so if i can just replace the seal then thats gonna be heaps cheaper

got mine from the bearing wholesaler for about $25 a side.

I did use 1.0lt bearings though with a spacer ring that you can buy seperate from suzuki. After the first replacement as you have the rings you only have to fork out $50 for both sides each time instead of $50 a side for wt bearings.

If oil is coming out chances are the bearing won't be far behind it.. (that is, in the getting stuffed department) you don't tend to notice much bearing movement until the whole assembly is out. and if oil is coming out it means it has washed through the bearing taking the bearing grease with it. I'd be inclined to replace it while it's all apart. Also pay attention to cleaning up the brakes it tends to make a real mess in there!
If it's already been thought of...

As I mentioned earlier instead of using WT bearings that have a spacer built into the bearing casing you use a 1.0lt rear wheel bearing which is flat. Cause it is flat and requries you to use a spacer that is also found on a 1.0lt axle.

So instead of $50 for the one bearing kit you can get both kits for the price of one.

But you will need the spacer ring for the axles to sit at the right depth. You can get these from Suzuki for about $25 each.

Bearings last just as long but are half the cost so replacement time is less $$$$ to the wallet.

just a update guys the SKF bearing kit, part number WBK2797. is the wrong one for a WT sierra. they are the ones for a NT. WT have a different main bearing. We found out the hard way and are now argueing with repco who said it was the correct on for the car. Will post up correct part number when i get them.
