egt
you need some mandrels in there!!
i thought best place for a EGT (other then pre turbo for the most accurate reading and up to 100 deg C higher then post turbo)) was where your dump pipe leaves the turbo half way around the bend or at least as soon as the bend goes vertical!! 700deg C is melting point for most diesels with a EGT in this position, or up a long slugger hill with your foot flat try not to exceed 600 deg C for more then a few seconds to be safe?
is this to the belief of others?

if you put a diecent oil cooler on would this have much/any effect on the temps or would it jst be better for the engine?
3.0L turbo diesel, 4" lift, bud's front housing, track assasin cv's, air lokker front + Rear, beadlock'd 37 stickies, high steer, 15.5" travel ranchos, high pinion diff and coils on the rear
No - these are the combustion temperatures, which are only loosely related to oil temp or water temp.brad 93hilux wrote:if you put a diecent oil cooler on would this have much/any effect on the temps or would it jst be better for the engine?
