rear mounted radiator

for metal piping down under car am i able to go to local muffler shop and use that type of pipe, or would it rust, or would it be to thin.
whats peoples sugestions

I would think that stainless pipe would be the best at least you know it wont rust mlid steel pipe will end up rusting

Rust is oxidisation. For oxidisation to occur the metal must be exposed to oxygen (along with other elements). If the cooling system is kept maintained with quality coolant there will be no oxygen and therefore no rust.
Alloy is actually best suited as it disipates heat better.. but very exy!
Mild steel will be ok.
Stainless would be better than mild.
What's your budget??
