we done our swap for about 6g's, we picked up a GQ turbo diesel and transplanted the motor in,

we modded the drivers side engine mount as it did not line up, we modified the mount that bolts to the block, not the mount on the chassis rail,

you need a GU TD42 box, and a TD42 gear box crossmember,
GU TD42 racdiator, and hoses,

now we didnt mod any wiring harness, the alternator wiring form our RD28, plugged straight into the TD42 alternator and AC pump,

started we modded the plugs on, changed plugs on glowplugs, oil pressure switch,

at the moment we havnt got the tacho working, or water temp guage,
we put in an aftermarkt water temp guage,

only drama we have now is engine ligt stays on, but in due time we will sort it,

oh and our front tailshaft is about 30mm too long,

we used the transfer case off the RD28 box as it was fitted with rockhoppers, rear shaft bolted up, and hasnt bee a drama,

we had it engineered, which it passed no probs all was cool,
