Post by bushytas »

Hi all i was just interested in someone going me some info on the 2008 patrol as im thinking of buying one
Im looking at a walkabout limited i think its a DX 3ltd with one or two extras.
the one im thinking of buying is a auto white alloy wheels 6 changer cd bullbar side steps cargo cage and snorkle $52000 onroad with 2000$$$ worth of fuel.
as i dont know much about the nissans im thinking this isnt such a bad deal plus its got everything i need apart from diff lock but i can add that later
Anyway any info would be great

You used to be able to get them down under $50,000 but nissan just put the prices of them up (blaming rising production costs).

So I think that might actually be a pretty good deal if it is driveaway with 12 months rego.

With the diff lock see if the dealer has an account and they will be able to get you a dealer price which is lower in my experience then the best price you will get no matter how hard you bargin

Get the manual if you can. I have driven the auto and ended up buying a manual exactly the same as what you are looking at.
