after market air filter

guys been trying to get a decent good breating air filter for a nissan STR D22 2.5 turbo diesel plated 2008,, not the D40 STX, neither K&N nor Unifilter make one as yet for this model does anyone of another brand or if another model fits in i asked nissan to cross refference there models for me and they say nothing else fits it or comes close, cheers steve
