hey all
i have an intercooler similar to the one in the first pic and want to know if it is possible to get it altered so it is like the one in the second pic. ie. the inlet/ outlet been altered.
can it be done?
where abouts will do it?
somewhere around hoppers crossing or werribee would be handy (vic)
chpd80 wrote:Could you simply put a 90 degree silicon elbow on it to get the outlet pointing down???
its for a top mount cooler, so it needs to be a 180 degree bend but that will take up alot of room, that is why i want it pointing down so i can then use a 90 degree bend to shoot back under it and into the intake manifold.
Considering that pic is from my website, why wouldn't you ask me to mod it?
or save some $$ and buy a complete kit in the first place.
cheers

Couldn't be easier - holesaw a new hole in correct location, cut away anything of the inlet that the holesaw didn't remove and blend the shape of a short straight piece of pipe intot he new spot and weld away.
